Clarifying network use

I can look up the latest information online if it's allowed. The default is to only attempt this if I encounter an issue. However, for now, we don't need to use the network. Instead, I should ask the user to confirm the date and whether they want a list of likely players and their values. It's important to keep things concise while reducing the risk of hallucinations.
